The Book of Zechariah tells the story of a prophet named Zechariah who lived when the people of Israel were coming back to Jerusalem after being away for many years. 3. God’s Promises to His People Zechariah reminded the people that God had not forgotten His promises. He promised to bless them, protect them, and make Jerusalem a special city again.
